Door holding is a tiny coordination problem. Research by Joseph P. Santamaria and David A. Rosenbaum (2011) describes it in terms of reducing the combined effort of two people.
This game exaggerates that tension for comedy. There is no universal perfect distance, and nobody owes you a sprint. Scores and personality labels are fictional game mechanics, not psychological assessments.

Start a round and watch the follower. Tap Hold to open the door, then tap again to release. Hand over when the follower is close. If you prefer, turn off tap mode and press and hold. Space works while a round is active; H hands over and P pauses. A full round ends within 30 seconds.
Coffee adds hand strain, rain changes the door closer, double door adds a second handoff, the VIP amplifies pressure, and the queue introduces extra followers. Reverse Courtesy puts you in the approaching person’s shoes. Elevator doors have their own closing timer.
Sound begins off. Tap mode avoids sustained pressure. Reduced motion limits decorative movement and camera effects. Status is conveyed by words and symbols as well as color. Pausing or switching browser tabs stops the clock.
The game needs no login and sends no gameplay records to a game server. Best scores, settings and collection are stored in this browser’s localStorage. Blogger and any existing Google advertising services may process data under their own policies. Sharing happens only when you choose it.
